Three TEEF Left After This Boot Went Upside My Head

The Kingdom of Heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

Translation: You don’t send a dude wearing yoga spandex to handle grown folk business. Saving souls is serious business. The last thing people need is to be distracted by some cartoon plant.

Within the body of Christ, it’s a small world. The Parable of the Sower was a hot topic by no coincidence. I had read it by chance Saturday morning. Then on Sunday two ministers that I follow online referenced it. Later that night I asked my wife “let’s study it together,” and she stated that it was a confirmation because her favorite online minister had taught on it the day before.

The passage caused me to reflect on my best friend who was shot dead at 25. Ironically, he was the one who brought me to the church where I got saved. I grew up under my parents’ religion and visited alternative places. But where my friend brought me to was the first time and first place ever where I finally heard The Bible taught. The level of excellence running on all cylinders was so foreign to me, that it caught me off guard, because it didn’t match what I was used to. For a couple of hours it was like going into another dimension and then afterwards, back into a cold dark society where it’s everybody for themselves literally. This church was also the first place where I saw the pastor declare “This house will be a house that honors and values marriage.” It was the first place that taught me sex out of wedlock is wrong.

I’m Haitian on both sides and Haitian men no doubt get married and stayed married. But they sure wrote the book on how to have a side chick. I was well on my way to being a contributing author. Gratefully, our pastor was bold enough to tell us that we’ll die in our sins if we keep messing around.

I picked up the ball and ran with it, because I knew and felt that death was around the corner if I didn’t get my act together. My buddy kept backsliding unfortunately.

(And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.) Luke 8-6

The above verse was why I thought of my friend. It talks about how the seed with no deep roots perished after sprouting through the rocks. My boy was wild, and his dad was no less of a character. His old man was in and out of jail and it was bad news.

My dad too is far from perfect but by Yah’s grace he was always there to put the fear of THE LORD in us. My mom made me make a covenant with her when I was 15 that I would never engage in drugs, as she knew weed was a trap for the weak. I’ve seen with my own eyes how THE LORD answered my mom’s prayers in real time. Was I screw up, yes, but again by Yah’s grace I happened to be deeply rooted.

(And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it and choked it.) Luke 8-7

The above verse is fitted for the knucklehead we all know. The word thorn that’s used gave me a different take to Apostle Paul’s Thorn in the Flesh. Whatever that thorn was, he described in detail how much it tormented him. I felt bad for him. Paul made it seem that it was some disease with no cure. But the thorn used in this parable’s context seemed to categorize the sinful pleasures of life. Again, my best buddy would have been able to relate. I was no better when I fooled with liquor.

Sadly, it appears that some famous millionaires today have willingly placed two thorns that mirror horns on top of their heads. The skills and talents Yah has given them has allowed them to be beyond blessed. But they’ve still chosen to serve satan. It shows the gravity of how not being deeply rooted can plague even the most elite among us.

(A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the wayside; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.) Luke 8-5

The above verse kicks the whole parable off. Somehow the seeds managed to jump out of the sower’s bag to their doom. The way the seeds are stomped on is how many feel about church. I can’t blame some of them because I’ve seen that ugly side that has shocked them. I myself have been shocked. But despite the gestapo boot to my grill, I was growing in The Most High’s word that was faithfully being exposited.

No place is perfect. The betrayal could start off so subtle like a broken promise by a minister. Before you can even get to that dude who drops the ball, you run into a deranged usher who not once but twice rolls her eyes & neck at you and your wife.

For others, they come to the realization that the church they joined is a cult and the pastor is an adulterer. It goes on and on.

Thankfully The Most High still reigns. And even though some of us were surrounded by wolves, He preserved us. The foolishness we had to see and go through was ordained to make us stronger and wiser. Yah sent His only son to die for our sins. He knows how tore up we are. The only perfect person to ever walk on this earth was Yeshua. His blood was shed on the cross to save us from a pit that’s way worse than where we are now.

All a sinner has to do is admit they’re a disgrace from jump. And it’s in Christ where we have New Life and a fresh start.

Some folk are in the realm of being suicidal because they’ve run out of hope. We’ve all been lied too and let down. Many of us were hoodwinked into thinking ungodly ways are the norm. But the Supernatural Holy Spirit clashed against that garbage yelling out to us “Yeshua Lives and in Him you have new life!” It’s not too late and there’s still hope for those who believe in and receive Christ.

There are some well-known bought and paid wolves hustling a false gospel. The Holy Spirit sure’nuff is exposing them for such a time as this, so that you don’t waste any more precious time with them.

Speaking of wolves that need to be flushed, my self-help Kindle book below comes out Tuesday 9/8/20. It, as well as the paperback version are available for purchase now.

There are folk who don’t do big work in the restroom every day. May The Lord help them.

(5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the wayside; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.

6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.

7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it and choked it.

8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit a hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

9And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?

10And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see and hearing they might not understand.

11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

12 Those by the wayside are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.) Luke 8-15
